Coaching for your Product Leadership Journey
Strategic guidance for product leaders at every career stage
Leading product can be a lonely experience. You're constantly juggling the short-term demands of cross-functional stakeholders while striving to build the best possible product for your users. It's a delicate balance that requires strategic thinking, strong communication, and unwavering focus on long-term value creation.
Whether you're stepping into your first leadership role as a Head of Product, navigating the responsibilities of a VP, or charting the course as a Chief Product Officer, I'm here to help you succeed.
About Your Coach

Having spent 20+ years building and leading product teams across the tech landscape from enterprise solutions to consumer platforms, I've navigated the full spectrum of leadership challenges.
My product career has followed a deliberate path across the full business spectrum. Instead of specializing in one type of company, I've chosen to lead products across the entire business lifecycle. This experience from early stage startups to rapid growth companies to established enterprises gives me practical insight into how product leadership must adapt as organizations evolve and priorities shift.
Throughout my career, I've navigated the challenges you're facing now: building teams, communicating product vision, balancing short-term demands with long-term strategy, and turning product insights into organizational advantages.
I've worked with 100+ leaders from 60+ companies, from first-time managers to seasoned executives, helping them elevate their impact and navigate the complexities of leadership in product-driven organizations.
New to Product Leadership?
I made plenty of mistakes in my early leadership days – let me help you make different ones. Here's how I typically support first-time leaders:
Creating & Evangelizing Vision
- Create and communicate a shared product vision that inspires and aligns stakeholders (and/or partner with your CEO/founder to get it effectively out of their head)
- Develop a practical prioritization framework based on your vision and strategy
- Learn to confidently explain product decisions using your vision, strategy, and prioritization
Crafting Metrics-Driven Roadmaps
- Build roadmaps that align with metrics while maintaining flexibility for experimentation and learning
- Create tailored roadmap versions for different audiences (because what works for the board won't work for design or engineering)
- Balance short-term wins, longer-term strategic goals, and the ever-present technical debt
Navigating the IC-to-Leader Transition
- Discover and establish your authentic leadership style
- Build confidence in your decision-making abilities
- Manage former peers (including that one person who's been there since day one and frankly knows more about the product than you do)
Seasoned Product Leader?
While I'm always ready to coach, with experienced leaders I start as a thought partner. Here's how I typically collaborate with senior leaders:
Getting Meaningful Feedback
- Receive targeted feedback on your plans (instead of those vacant nods from people who assume experience equals infallibility)
- Uncover and address blind spots
- Create a personal growth plan that pushes you beyond your comfort zone
Partnering with Founders and Fellow Executives
- Build trust and demonstrate Product Leadership's value in founder-led organizations
- Help key stakeholders maintain vision ownership while making it actionable and stable
- Navigate the balance between respecting company history and driving necessary change
Staying Relevant
- Develop a framework for evaluating new trends without chasing every shiny object (because not everything needs blockchain)
- Build a personal learning and development plan to keep your skills sharp
- Apply your wealth of experience to cutting-edge challenges
